action

Top model Sonja Conrad, who once belonged to a youth group supervised by Ekki and is back in Münster for a fashion show, feels pursued by a stalker and confides in Wilsberg. When Sonja's assistant is found shot shortly afterwards, the matter seems to be more serious than initially assumed. Sonja's mother Britta reports of anonymous death threats that she kept secret from her daughter. She suspects the photographer Rolf Blank, who already had an affair with Sonja, but denies this. Although Wilsberg's investigations also speak against Blanks complicity, Britta Conrad passes on her allegations to the press, which then pounces on Blank and his wife, hungry for sensation.

Sonja Conrad moved from the hotel to Wilsberg, where she doesn't feel safe. She tells him and Ekki that she is only driven to model existence by her ambitious mother and that she would be only too happy to stop doing it herself, especially since she is far less talented than what the media say. Wilsberg finds out that the Conrads are facing ruin and urgently need income, and considers it possible that Sonja's mother consciously arranged the stalker story in order to increase her daughter's media presence. Finally, Rolf Blank can no longer take the pressure and hangs himself. His wife Nele, who works as a taxi driver, blames Sonja Conrad for this - she seduced and exploited her husband.

In the presidium, a DNA comparison of a corpse of water found days ago accidentally reveals that it is Sonja's father, who has disappeared without a trace for months. The gun he was shot with is the same one that killed Sonja's assistant. When this pistol is found at Sonja's mother, Anna Springer arrests it. Britta Conrad admits to having shot her ex-husband because he constantly demanded money and threatened to harm Sonja. The assistant had abused her trust and used a contract that was intended for Sonja for himself.

When Sonja wants to break out of all the confusion, she happens to get into the taxi that is being driven by Nele Blank. She yells her anger in Sonja's face and then deliberately drives into a tree at high speed, but Sonja is only slightly injured.

background

90-60-90 was released on DVD along with the episode Das Geld der Others from Polar Film .

The song at the end of the episode is Try by the American singer Pink .

The running gag "Bielefeld" refers in this episode to the possible next exhibition location for fashion designer Felix (minute 61). Another running gag is the "chambermaid Nasrin". This appears several times in hotel scenes and draws the protagonists' attention to illegality (“Nothing, illegal!”). She also offers her towels for some faux pas (“More towels?”).

criticism

Tilmann P. Gangloff from tittelbach.tv said appreciatively: “The ensemble is good as always, the guest roles are credible and aptly cast, the staging ensures an appropriate thriller atmosphere thanks to the image design and music. Occasionally, director Dominic Müller and screenwriter Stefan Rogall allow a little humorous relaxation, but the bottom line is that '90 - 60 - 90 'is significantly more crime fiction than comedy. "

Focus.de, however, said: “The new case of private detective Wilsberg and tax auditor Ekki is no pleasure for the viewer. The plot seems artificial. ”There are“ too many investigative steps ”that often“ come out of the blue ”. The only bright spot in the "only moderately exciting 'Wilsberg' episode" was "Max Giermann's guest appearance"

The critics of TV Spielfilm rated the crime thriller only mediocre and without comment with the "thumbs to the side".
