criticism

On May 12, 2016, the German subsidiary of the production company came under fire for exploiting the candidates in the production of the show Wanted in-Law . The Neo Magazin Royale smuggled an applicant into the show who was played by an actor and documented the conversations between producers and supposed candidates. In the broadcast on May 12, 2016, the report was broadcast under the name #Verafake .

Only about two weeks later, on May 22, 2016, the production company came under renewed criticism. For example, when a quiz show was being recorded for RTL II, extras were portrayed as radio presenters, although they are not. The company had booked real radio hosts to take part in the music quiz, but apparently couldn't find enough. The radio presenter Christian Semmet made the procedure public after the recording, whereupon the broadcaster canceled the broadcast of the show.
