Hans-Joachim Meiser (born August 20, 1946 in Bad Rothenfelde ) is a German radio and television presenter and journalist .

Career

Hans Meiser studied German, history and art history, but did not complete these studies. At the age of 15 he was already working for what was then Süddeutscher Rundfunk (SDR) in children's and youth radio. His career began on the SWF radio . Later he switched to the German radio program of Radio Luxemburg . He was a “man from the very beginning” at the TV station RTL plus . From 1984 to 1992 he was anchorman of the news program 7 vor 7 and RTL aktuell . Immediately after the start of the hostage-taking of Gladbeck , in the course of which three people died, he was the first journalist to call the hostage-takers at Deutsche Bank to conduct an interview.

Together with Erich Wagner, Hans Meiser is managing director of the production company CreaTV Fernsehproduktions GmbH , which he founded in 1992 together with RTL plus .
