Franziska Arndt
Franziska Arndt (* 1. January 1974 in Lübeck ) is a German actress .
Life
After graduating from high school in 1993, Franziska Arndt completed an acting training at the Folkwang University in Essen, from which she graduated in 1999. During this time, Arndt had his first guest contracts at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus and at the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen. After a guest performance at Theater Bremen in 1999 as Betty Parris in Arthur Miller's witch hunt , she took up a permanent engagement at the Nationaltheater Mannheim in the same year . From 2001 to 2009 Franziska Arndt worked as a freelancer with guest contracts at the theaters in Bremen and Lübeck , at the Schlosstheater Moers , the Staatstheater Nürnberg and the Sophiensaelen in Berlin. From 2007 to 2009 another permanent engagement at Theater Augsburg followed . She then worked at the Alten Schauspielhaus Stuttgart , again in Nuremberg and Augsburg, and at the Osnabrück Theater .
Franziska Arndt's range of roles includes, among many others, the title character in Schiller's Maria Stuart , Orsina in Emilia Galotti von Lessing or Princess Eboli in Don Karlos . Furthermore, she appeared in numerous Shakespeare -Stücken, in Ibsen's Wild Duck or in God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza . Arndt also embodied Miss Rasch in Franz Xaver Kroetz 'one-man play request concert and was the Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams .
In 1999 Franziska Arndt made her comrade debut in an episode of the Stadtklinik doctor series . Since then she has occasionally been seen in episode roles in various crime series, such as Die Rosenheim-Cops , SOKO Cologne or in the Tatort episode We Are the Good .
In addition, Arndt has participated in several radio play productions for the WDR , including Tierische Profite by Donna Leon , a criminal case involving her fictional character Commissario Brunetti .
Franziska Arndt lives in Aachen.
