Thomas Leutzbach (* 1963 in Karlsruhe ) is a German radio play director .

Life

Thomas Leutzbach studied German, computer science and philosophy in Cologne. For a time he belonged to the ensembles of various independent theater groups before joining Westdeutscher Rundfunk radio in 1990 . There he initially worked as an assistant director, and since the mid-1990s he has been responsible as a director in a large number of radio play productions. Among other things, he directed the first three radio crime scenes produced by WDR .
