Stefan Reck

Stefan Reck (born November 28, 1954 in Lippstadt ) is a German actor .

life and career

Reck completed his acting training. a. at the Hamburg University of Music and Performing Arts . From 1979 to 1984 he was a member of the ensemble at the Berlin Schaubühne , where he was seen in productions by Luc Bondy , Klaus Michael Grüber and in Peter Stein's Orestie and Klassen Feind . In 1984 he also played in Peter Zadek's ghetto at the theater of the Freie Volksbühne Berlin . From 1988 to 1991 he was engaged at the Nationaltheater Mannheim , where he played Gary in Der nackte Wahnsinn and Fritz in Liebelei , among others . Since then he has appeared as a freelance actor in Berlin , Munich , Düsseldorf and Hamburg as well as in various films and on television. He played, among other things, in the remake of Factory of Officers and episodes of the series Der Alte and Derrick . His best-known roles are those of the psychologist Dr. Frieder Tamm in the series Everything but Murder and that of the lawyer Bruno Pelzer in Liebling Kreuzberg . In addition to roles in film and television, he continued to appear on the theater stage, including in the role of Frédéric Chopin in the play Summer in Nohant , together with fellow actor Renan Demirkan . In 2010 he played Basow in Sommergäste and Geßler in Wilhelm Tell at the 60th Bad Hersfeld Festival . In 2011 he was seen in three productions at the Bad Hersfeld Festival and was awarded the Festival Audience Award. In 2015 he played Barack , the police officer, in the comedy der Irrungen (staged by Dieter Wedel ) in Bad Hersfeld . From the beginning of the 2011/12 season he was a member of the Heidelberg Theater and Orchestra ensemble . In the 2015/16 season he moved again to the ensemble of the Nationaltheater Mannheim.

Reck lives in Berlin.
