In the name of Rosi is the 33rd episode of the television film series Wilsberg . The film is based on the Wilsberg figure by Jürgen Kehrer . It was first broadcast on September 28, 2011 on ZDFneo . The director was Hans-Günther Bücking , who also took over the camera, and the screenplay was written by Matthias Keilich and Khyana el Bitar .

Private detective Georg Wilsberg is called to help by a monk who instructs him to secretly investigate the Melkwegen monastery. The Cellerar Bertram came recently in an unusual manner killed and he has doubts about an accident. Since Prior Elijah insisted that heart failure should be on the death certificate, he became skeptical.
Unexpectedly, Wilsberg meets Ekki in the monastery, who has attended a management seminar, and Overbeck, who is supposed to organize the Pope's upcoming visit in terms of security. Without further ado, Wilsberg pretends to be a seminar participant and mingles with the monks. He quickly notices disagreements among the brothers . Finances in particular have been in a mess for a while. Wilsberg's interest also arouses the monastery library , where he meets the intern Angela Rothen.
In the middle of Wilsberg's research there is another death. Brother Ansgar was murdered and so Commissioner Springer appeared in the monastery . As an explanation for Brother Bertram's death, she received that he had thrown himself out of his window and the prior wanted to portray it as an accident in order not to confuse the monks. The reason for his suicide is the financial difficulties he brought the brotherhood into. In addition, a precious is the Bible from the 15th Century missing. When Wilsberg discovers such a Bible from Angela Rothen, it turns out that she is the daughter of brother Ansgar and that her mother (Rosi) had received this Bible from the child's father. But Angela is suddenly the victim of a poison attack, which she luckily survived.
Wilsberg finds out that Brother Ansgar's real name is "von Unger" and that he would have inherited an immense fortune. After him, the inheritance would pass to his daughter. Brother Jeremiah turns out to be the murderer, who wanted to bring the monastery to enjoy the inheritance by murdering his brother in faith and the poison attack on his daughter.

In the name of Rosi the film was shot in Münster, in the St. Nikolaus Church and the Brauweiler Abbey in the Rhein Erft district, Cologne and Val-Dieu Monastery , Belgium . The name is based on the movie The Name of the Rose with Sean Connery is intentional and provided with various allusions.
In the name of Rosi appeared on DVD along with the episode For Lack of Evidence from polar film . Director Hans-Günther Bücking worked again as a cameraman in this episode.
The running gag "Bielefeld" in this episode only refers to the Reformed brothers in minute 86, against whom the monastery brothers won in the cross-country race.
