Alexander Hauff (born December 9, 1957 in Berlin ) is a German actor , radio play speaker and singer .

Life

Alexander Hauff was born in Berlin-Tempelhof in 1957 . He passed the Abitur at the Berlin Max-Weber-Oberschule . Alexander Hauff took part in radio plays as a child . He later drew attention to himself with eccentric appearances as the singer of the rock band Gethsemaneh . After briefly studying theater studies at the Free University of Berlin , he studied acting at the Fritz Kirchhoff School in Berlin. He completed this course in 1982.

The role of Frizz in the sitcom Die Vier in the meantime within the SFB broadcast 45 Fever brought his first acting successes .

Alexander Hauff gained early theater experience while studying acting at the Berlin Vaganten stage . He later became a permanent member of the Theatermanufaktur Berlin ensemble . Numerous engagements in film and television followed. A role in Wim Wenders' feature film In Far Far Away, So Close! at the side of Peter Falk , inspired him for the film work.
