Angeli Backhausen

Angeli Backhausen (* 1953 ) is a German radio play director .

Life

Angeli Backhausen studied German and theater studies in Cologne. Since 1979 she worked as an assistant director in the radio department of Westdeutscher Rundfunk . Backhausen has been working as a director in the areas of radio plays, features and children's radio since 1985 . She was responsible for adapting children's radio plays for Saarland Radio , and staged a series of radio plays by the author Karlheinz Koinegg . Before starting her directorial career in particular, she occasionally took on roles in radio play productions.
