Dirk Dobbrow
Dirk Dobbrow (born December 6, 1966 in Berlin ) is a German actor, writer and playwright .
Life
After graduating from high school, Dirk Dobbrow worked as a newspaper delivery man, geriatric nurse and radio announcer. He also attended a private drama school. He was engaged as an actor at the Stadttheater Lüneburg for two years , then at various theaters in Berlin, including the Vaganten stage and the Schlossparktheater .
In 1994 and 1997 Dobbrow received a working grant for writers from the Berlin Senate's cultural administration . In 2003 he received a scholarship from the German Literature Fund . In 2004 he was also able to receive a working grant for writers from the cultural administration of the Berlin Senate and in 2004/2005 he was a scholarship holder of the DrehbuchWerkstatt Munich (at the University of Television and Film Munich ).
Dirk Dobbrow lives as a freelance author in Berlin and writes plays, novels and stories.
