In his texts, Feyzioğlu transposes figures and motifs from the Turkish fairy tale tradition into the present, and in this way also emphatically addresses the problem areas of migration and integration for a young reading audience. His stories can often be described as modern Nasreddin - Hoca stories .

In the meantime, only in 1992 Feyzioğlu's entry ban to Turkey was lifted, Feyzioğlu is also a recognized author in his old homeland, has received literary prizes (including the fairy tale prize of the Turkish children's book authors' union in Ankara ) and numerous benevolent reviews , as in Germany .
