Wolfgang Rindfleisch (* 1954 in Greifswald ) is a German radio play director .

Life

Wolfgang Rindfleisch studied theater studies in East Berlin . From 1983 to 1990 he was a dramaturge, assistant director and director for the radio in the GDR . Since 1991 he has been working as a freelance director.

In 1996, his production of Fritz Rudolf Fries ' Frauentags Ende or The Return to Ubliaduh with Manfred Krug and Winfried Glatzeder in the leading roles (Prod .: MDR 1995) was awarded the prestigious radio play prize of the war blind . The critic Frank Olbert calls the end of Women's Day a "wonderfully light-handed radio play".

Also in 1996, his radio play adaptation Uhrwerk Orange (based on Anthony Burgess , A Clockwork Orange ) was awarded the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize for the best science fiction radio play of the previous year (first broadcast on November 7, 1995 on MDR ).
