Holger Teschke

Holger Teschke (born July 13, 1958 in Bergen auf Rügen ) is a German author and writes poetry , drama , radio plays and prose . He lives as a freelance writer in Berlin and Boston . Holger Teschke is a member of the PEN Center Germany .

Life

Teschke went to sea until 1980 and then studied drama directing in Berlin. He worked as a dramaturge and author at the Berliner Ensemble , was artist in residence and guest director in North America, Australia and Southeast Asia.

Occasionally he publishes on technical topics in daily media, for example in the young world or in the new Germany . From 2000 to 2009 he was visiting professor at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.
