Lutz Riedel

Lutz Riedel (* 8. August 1947 ) is a German actor , voice actor , dubbing author and dialogue director .

Life

Riedel studied theater studies, German and journalism at the Free University of Berlin and worked as an actor at the Lübeck Municipal Theaters and in Berlin.

Riedel has been married to his colleague Marianne Groß since 1979 , they have two daughters, Anne Marie (* 1981) and Sarah Riedel (* 1979), the latter of whom is also active in the acting and dubbing industry.

Riedel has worked as a voice actor since the 1970s, primarily as the German regular speaker for Timothy Dalton and Tom Wilkinson . He dubbed Ronald Reagan in a film and gave an interview that was printed in various newspapers. The interview was forwarded to the White House and Riedel then received a letter and a photo from Reagan, signed: With best wishes for Lutz Riedel. Ronald Reagan .

As a dubbing director he wrote the dialogue books and directed the dialogue for Pirates of the Caribbean , Accused and Hunt for Red October .
