Brian Lumley
Brian Lumley (born December 2, 1937 in Horden , County Durham ) is an English author of horror literature .
Life
Lumley was born in the north east of England. He joined the British Army, where he wrote his first stories during his little free time. He later became a professional writer. From 1996 to 1997 he was President of the Horror Writers Association (HWA). In 1989 he received the British Fantasy Award for the short story Fruiting Bodies . In 2010 he received the World Fantasy Award for his life's work.
He added that of HP Lovecraft launched Cthulhu Mythos add more stories, including Titus Crow .
