action
The wealthy businessman Thomas Lieven ( Siegfried Rauch ), woman lover and hobby cook, meets the attractive Helén de Couville on a business trip. He soon finds out that she belongs to the American secret service and would like to advertise him for them. He then tells her about his eventful past, which began in 1939.
At that time he was lured from London to Berlin and there fell into the clutches of the Gestapo , who wanted to force him to spy on Great Britain . He fled back to London in the hope of being able to shake off the Gestapo. However, the British Secret Service was of the opinion that Lieven would be the ideal double agent. When he refused, he was expelled to France, where the Deuxième Bureau was waiting for him ...
Lieven hopes to have left his past behind, but Helén makes sure that the game begins again ...
