Berno von Cramm (born November 28, 1934 in Göttingen ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Life

The son of Baron Burghard von Cramm and his wife Franziska geb. Pulvermann is a nephew of the "tennis baron" Gottfried von Cramm . After finishing school, he completed the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna from 1956 to 1959 and began his stage career in 1959 at the Nordmark Theater in Schleswig .

As a freelance actor, he has made guest appearances at the Augsburg Municipal Theaters , the Small Comedy Munich, the Deutsches Theater Munich , the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, the Theater am Kurfürstendamm Berlin, the Theater an der Wien , the United Municipal Theaters in Krefeld and Mönchengladbach , at the State Theater am Gärtnerplatz Munich, State Theater Stuttgart and State Theater Berlin .

His numerous theater roles have included Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream , Cléanthe in The Imaginary Sick , Horatio in Hamlet and Newton in The Physicists . On television he was seen in television games and series.

Berno von Cramm is also a busy voice actor who has previously appeared in the Star Trek series and the cartoon series Maya the Bee , The Simpsons , Darkwing Duck and One Piece . He also spoke for John Cleese as "Almost Headless Nick" in the Harry Potter films Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002). From 1993 he also lent his voice to the pig lady " Miss Piggy " in the " Muppet Show ".

Cramm's first wife was Maria-Christine Ptack from 1959 to 1961, the daughter of actress Susi Nicoletti and Ludwig Ptack . In 1965 he married the choreographer and actress Irene Mann (1929–1996).
