Joachim Tettenborn

Joachim Tettenborn (born November 26, 1918 in Ottendorf , Thuringia , † August 18, 2008 in Ingelheim am Rhein ) was a German dramaturge and author .

Life

Tettenborn attended a high school in Jena , then became a soldier and was wounded in 1942. After the end of the Second World War , he began studying German, philosophy and theater studies at the universities of Jena and Vienna, where he received his doctorate. phil. In Weimar he attended drama school.

From 1945 to 1948 he worked as chief dramaturge, director and actor at the Jena City Theater . In the same position he worked at the stage in Erfurt from 1948 to 1950 . After fleeing to West Berlin, he worked there as a dramaturge at the stands and in 1952 went to the Berlin Schiller Theater as a dramaturge for ten years . He then worked as the deputy head dramaturge and later as the editor-in-chief of the main department "TV Drama and Film" at ZDF . From 1980 he worked as a freelance writer.
