Thomas Fuchs (Author)

Thomas Fuchs (born March 16, 1964 in Kassel ) is a German author and journalist.

Life

Fuchs is the son of the children's book author Ursula Fuchs . He grew up in Kassel and Darmstadt and studied history and politics at the universities of Frankfurt , Tübingen and Munich . Fuchs writes radio plays and works as a radio journalist, initially as a freelancer for years, and since 2019 in a permanent position for Deutschlandfunk Kultur . He published his numerous books for children and young people primarily with Thienemann Verlag and Arena Verlag . He now describes himself as a "hybrid author," the parallel to his publications in publishing houses and self-publications created. Since 2012 he has been presenting new editions of out-of-print titles in particular , but also original editions of novels for adults in the Gegenwind edition .

Thomas Fuchs lives with his family in Berlin .
