David Bunners
David Christian Bunners (born February 11, 1966 in Neubrandenburg ) is a German film , television and theater actor .
Life
David Bunners, the son of the theologian and musicologist Christian Bunners was born in 1966 in Neubrandenburg , Mecklenburg . He completed classical piano training from 1971 to 1983 and made his debut in 1985 alongside Jutta Wachowiak and Kurt Böwe in Gunther Scholz 's DEFA film Ab heute grown . He then studied acting from 1986 to 1989 at the Konrad Wolf Academy for Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg . From 1990 to 1991 he was engaged at the Staatstheater Kassel , playing among others the Templar in Lessing's Nathan the Wise (debut) and Dr. Heidkliff in Elfriede Jelinek's Illness or Modern Women . From 1991 to 1993 he was a member of the Theater Bonn ensemble (including Max Piccolomini in Schiller's Wallenstein , nomination “Best Young Actor NRW”) and from 1993 to 1996 of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg . Here he was u. a. Troilus in Leander Haussmann's production of Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida .
Since 1994 David Bunners has also worked as a voice actor in various productions. He lent his voice to Jude Law in Oscar Wilde, among others .
He started his television career with guest roles in various television productions before he came to a leading role in the Sat.1 series For all cases Stefanie via supporting roles at Tatort and SOKO Leipzig . Since then he has also played in television films such as Die Nachrichten (director: Matti Geschonneck), Stauffenberg (director: Jo Baier) and in Der Turm (director: Christian Schwochow). In 2005, Bunners won an award in Moscow in the Best Actor category for his leading role as Lieutenant Ohnesorg in the Russian feature film Time to Collect Stones ( Mosfilm , director: Alexei Karelin). The short film Toyland (2007), co-produced by Bunners as Executive Producer , won the Oscar for Best Short Film at the 81st Academy Awards (Oscars) in 2009 .
David Bunners was for many years a member of the BFFS Federal Drama Association and from 2011 to 2015 a member of the German Academy for Television .
