action

The young, self-confident Séverine should actually be happy with her boyfriend Tom, but she always has nightmares that make her doubt the relationship. She also feels that she is being watched. She decides to go to the sea for a few days. When Tom found out about the breakup, he gave himself up to alcohol in a pub and got into a conversation with a man. He suggests ambushing Séverine while she is driving to the sea so that Tom can save her and win her back. Tom finally agrees.

As Séverine drives towards the sea, she notices that she is being followed. However, she can save herself in a forest, but eventually has to walk because - thanks to Tom - the fuel is out. When she reaches a villa in the forest, she hopes for help, but suddenly her pursuers appear. It turns out that the man in the bar belongs to a snuff porn group and that Séverine is said to be the next victim.

criticism

The film service believes that the “equally disturbing and exciting” film is a “strictly staged thriller between (night) dream and fairy tale”. He was "excellently played in the main role" and convinced "with his style will and unusual picture ideas". The magazine Epd Film judges: “The greatest tension and the greatest ridiculousness are close together: Images of nature that signal danger, puzzling scraps of memory, splatter moments (softened by the black and white of the film) and the ability to escape Séverines again and again their opponents, who are superior in numbers and strength. In a moment the film becomes both surreal and embarrassing. Most likely you can still appreciate the work as a fairy tale, even if the amateurism always brings you back to reality. "
