action

Felix Keller is a cynical, sarcastic, and ill-tempered teacher in early retirement. He avoids almost any contact with people and only enjoys distinguishing between red and white wine, unless he is making life difficult for his fellow men. When one day his neighbor Marie Maibach has water damage in her apartment, he is forced to deal with her. Her pubescent daughter Amelie, whom he considers particularly stupid, is, contrary to her poor academic performance, more intelligent than he thought. Since it is still his fault that Amelie has a broken leg, he decides to give her tutoring.

Reviews

"(TV) comedy about a misanthropic loner who is brought with difficulty on the path of human virtues."

“'Wilsberg' star Lansink delivers an energetic one-man show. Conclusion: A small party for fans of cheeky sayings "

“'Wilsberg' actor Leonard Lansink shines in the role of the title-giving stink boot, which ultimately proves cordiality. Comedy director Thomas Nennstiel [...] staged the whole thing with strong actors and funny sayings. "

“A little less verbal crackers and more indicated pain would have done this 'stinky boot' good. Just as Felix Keller has to relearn the right balance between truth and compassion, German comedy writers obviously have to learn the right balance between depth of character, message and dramaturgical structure. What comedy writers such as Ralf Husmann and Bora Drachtkin bring with them in terms of technical finesse, Grimme Prize winner Rogall completely misses in this TV comedy according to the old German fathers custom.
