Sibylla Lilian Klebow (born October 31, 1979 in Munich ) is a German actress and singer .

life and career

At the age of eight, Klebow started with the children's ensemble and extras in the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. At the age of eleven she began dance training at Studio Ben with Emil Brandl and Gisela Ochsner. At 17 she received her first record deal with the band All About Angels on Ralph Siegel's label Jupiter Records . With this band she took part in the German preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997 with the song Engel (7th place).

Klebow completed an acting training in Munich with Christine Görner , in Berlin at the Actors Lodge with Gabrielle Scharnitzky , at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Performing Arts Studios Vienna . In 1999 and 2001 she completed her training in acting as well as dance and singing with distinction.

Klebow is a singer in various band projects. From 2003 to 2006 she had her own rock band . In 2008 she performed with the Soko Loco Band with her colleagues Gregor Seberg and Dietrich Siegl supported by Helmut Zerlett at the Romy TV Prize .

Klebow made her theatrical debut in 1999 with the ensemble of the Salzburg Festival under the direction of Gernot Friedl in Hugo von Hofmannsthal's Jedermann . In 2008 she played alongside the Viennese music legend Hansi Lang in the world premiere of God's secretary by the Austrian author Klaus Oppitz .

Others

Klebow is a member of the Academy of Austrian Films, founded in 2009 . She also works as a spokesperson for radio plays , film dubbing and advertising for Ö1 and FM4 .

Klebow has been the honorary ambassador of the Jane Goodall Institute Austria since the beginning of 2011 .

Personal

Klebow married the actor Erich Altenkopf in July 2011 . She gave birth to a daughter in March 2014. Their second child, a boy, was born in January 2017.

Awards

  • In 2018, Lilian Klebow and ZDF editor Silvia Lambri accepted the honorary award “Rauchfrei Siegel” for the successful ZDF crime series SOKO Vienna - SOKO Danube , to the success of which the actress contributed. The award given by the German Cancer Aid Foundation at a ceremony on World No Tobacco Day in Berlin, in the presence of leading representatives from the non-smoking alliance, was a public thank you from the health organizations for the fact that SOKO Vienna “deliberately refrains from smoking characters” and thus serves as a role model.
