Otto Junggeburth

Otto Junggeburth (born March 23, 1944 in Bitburg ; † 2011 ) was a German actor , director and writer .

Life

After graduating from the Collegium Augustinianum Gaesdonck , Junggeburth studied German , philosophy , Catholic theology and law in Tübingen , Freiburg im Breisgau, Bonn and Münster from 1963 to 1966 .

From 1966 to 1968 he was assistant director at the Munster Municipal Theaters , during which time he also founded a student theater . From 1968 to 1970 Junggeburth was trained as an actor at the Folkwang University in Essen . From 1970 on he worked as a freelance director and author, with engagements at the Freiburg City Theater , the Theater der Altstadt in Stuttgart, the Badische Landesbühne in Bruchsal , the Wuppertaler Kammerspiele, the Württembergische Landesbühne Esslingen and the Stadttheater Konstanz . From 1985 to 1987 Junggeburth was the in-house author of the Württembergische Landesbühne Esslingen, where his plays were shorn, ... then we would have a house by the sea and duel were performed. Junggeburth lived in England from 1987 to 1998. In 2002 he founded the Sesam Theater in Bitburg . Junggeburth had lived in Cologne since 2004, and from 2008 he also worked as an actor for television. The actress Saskia Junggeburth is his daughter.
