Saskia Junggeburth

Saskia Junggeburth (born May 15, 1975 in Mannheim ) is a German actress and director . She lives and works in Hamburg .

Live and act

Saskia Junggeburth went to school in Konstanz and graduated from the Geschwister-Scholl-Schule in 1994 . From 1980 to 1994 she had her first guest contracts at the Stadttheater Konstanz , where she could be seen as Julia in Shakespeare's Measure for Measure and at the summer theater in Meersburg. From 1997 to 2000 she trained at the School of Drama in Hamburg.

Since 2000 she has worked as a freelance actress and director on various film and theater projects. Among other things, she played Hermia in Shakespeare's Midsummer Night 's Dream or Colonel Hathi in the Jungle Book at the Sesam Theater in Bitburg .

One of her successes is the founding and management of the “Elfen im Park” ensemble. The theater performances of the ensemble took place from 2001 to 2011 in Wohlers Park . From 2011 to 2014 she was responsible for the program management of the Logensaal in the Hamburger Kammerspiele . There literary and musical events as well as lectures and discussions take place there.

Saskia Junggeburth is the daughter of the director and author Otto Junggeburth .
