Tulile

Tulile (born October 8, 1976 in Santo Domingo , Dominican Republic ) or also called "El Rey Tulile", actually José Manueal Rivera, is a Dominican merengue musician .

Career

José Manuel Rivera showed his musical talent from an early age. His father played in the orchestras of Cuco Valoy, Jorge Solano and others. At the age of 13 he learned to play the saxophone. He had his first major appearance at the fire brigade band of Santo Domingo. Engagements with Monchi Capricho and Ramón Orlando followed.

In 1999 Tulile recorded his first solo album and signed a record deal with MT & VI Records. "La Cuca" from 2000 became a huge commercial success in the Dominican Republic and in the international market. The merengue is to be made better known with tours through Latin America , the USA and Europe .
