Morlock is a four-part German political thriller series starring Götz George , which ran on ARD in 1993 and 1994 .

action

Carl Morlock is a management consultant, but instead of helping his large industrial customers grow their wealth, he tries to prevent the environmental damage they cause.

background

The eco-crime series with Götz George, known as Tatort Commissioner Horst Schimanski, was elaborately produced and staged by well-known directors. The production company was Bavaria Film . In addition to German ARD television stations, broadcasters from France, Italy and Austria also appeared as clients. The films were released on video even before they were first broadcast. The success with the television audience remained low, especially since the episodes ran on Wednesdays during prime time at the same time as football broadcasts. So the series was set to four episodes.
