Immer wieder sonntags ( IWS ) is a 120-minute German music and entertainment show that has been broadcast live on Sunday mornings from the Europa-Park site in Rust since 1995 on the first . In 1999 she was suspended. Until 2014 it was only 90 minutes long. 2002 was also the Advent three times on Saturday afternoon, a winter edition of When Saturday . The program is produced by Kimmig Entertainment from Oberkirch on behalf of SWR . There are ten to 16 issues per season as well as a best of. The name of the show alludes to an evergreen of the hit duo Cindy & Bert , who had a number 3 hit with the title Immer wieder Sundays 1973 and their greatest success in Germany.

history

Initially Max Schautzer moderated the open-air show. Roberto Blanco was one of the guests on the first show . Again and again on Sundays , as a format competing with the ZDF television garden , criticism was initially felt, and this was not just down to Schautzer. All performances could not be longer than three minutes. Those who brought a longer song had to have it shortened at their own expense. At the beginning of each season, all positions for all categories were determined and rehearsed once and then remained unchanged for all future programs.

In 2004 Sebastian Deyle became the new moderator, under which the quotas fell. In 2005, a new concept with Stefan Mross as moderator provided another upswing.

In 2010, Guido Cantz presented Stefan Mross as part of the show Do you understand fun? tricked.

Axel Bulthaupt conducted the broadcast on August 22, 2010 , as Stefan Mross canceled the moderation for private reasons.

In the broadcast on August 10, 2014, Stefan Mross tried a hot chili sauce as part of a Scoville test. Thereupon he got breathlessness, had to support himself on the table and break off the moderation. He then collapsed backstage from circulatory failure and had to be taken to hospital. The live broadcast was moderated initially by Marc Pircher and later by Guido Cantz.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the moderation of Stefan Mross in 2014, the last three programs on August 31 and September 7 and 14 were extended to 120 minutes. In addition, “Stefan again and again - The big anniversary show” was broadcast on October 5th.

In 2020, due to the corona pandemic, the first four shows will take place from May 3rd without guests on site.

The IWS summer hit parade winners since 2007 are Franziska , Rico Seith , Florian Fesl (winner of hearts), Die Geiwaidler , Stoaberg Echo , Angelo Paschiller , Andreas Hastreiter , Corinna Zollner , Kevin and Manuel , Johannes Niggl , Robin Leon , Alex Reichinger and Jan Schrödel .

content

The show is a kind of entertainment show that revolves around service, comedy, music and stars from hits and folk music . The summer hit king / queen has been determined every year since 2007. Two unknown singers or groups compete against each other. TV viewers choose their favorite over the phone. At the end of the broadcast, the winner will be determined. With Franziska Katzmarek from Müelte it was the springboard for her career.
