Karl-Heinz "Kalle" Pohl (born August 20, 1951 in Düren ) is a German musician and comedian .

biography

Pohl grew up in Merzenich . The former police sergeant major studied classical guitar in Cologne and wrote several music books as well as a guitar school for beginners and advanced players. From 1985 to 1996 Pohl wrote cabaret texts a. a. for Harald Schmidt and Gaby Köster and moderated various cabaret radio shows on WDR .

Since 1996 he has been known to a wide audience as a comedian through television. After an engagement in the comedy series Manngold on tm3 , he joined the RTL -Comedy 7 Tage, 7 Köpf team in 1997 , to whose regular cast he belonged until the program was discontinued in 2005. He later got his own sitcom , like most of the show's members , Kalle Cooks , in which he plays a single parent cook. In addition, Pohl repeatedly worked on cabaret programs and published them in book form and on CDs . Pohl's best-known alter ego is that of his fictional cousin Hein Spack, who regularly ventures his anger.

In May 2007 Pohl made his debut on the theater stage of the Comedy Düsseldorf , where he played the leading role in the play Norman, is it you? , a comedy by Ron Clark and Sam Bobrick. In October 2007 his solo program Kalles Kiosk premiered. In 2010 Pohl played the lead role in the comedy Düsseldorf in the play Because they do not know what they inherit from Erich Virch . In 2012, the main roles followed in the theater plays A Beautiful Swede by Laurence Jyl , premiere in the comedy on Altstadtmarkt, Braunschweig, and discretion a matter of honor by Lewis Easterman , premiere in the comedy on Steinstrasse, Düsseldorf. At the Neersen Castle Festival in 2018, Pohl played the leading role in Charley's Aunt by Brandon Thomas .
