concept

Günter Grünwald

The television series is a mixture of cabaret , comedy and satire . At the beginning of each broadcast, Grünwald usually comments on current world events. In the first few episodes, the Christoph-Pauli-Band then presented a new interpretation of the Bavarian anthem . Günter Grünwald then announced the solution to the competition for the last broadcast, which was always “3”, and asked a new question, the solution to which was again “3”. Since December 2008, however, these competition questions have not been used. Instead, viewers are asked to post strange newspaper articles, advertisements or the like. to send. A visit to the studio, which otherwise won the competition, will then be drawn from among the entries. After the subsequent guest appearance by a cabaret artist, Günter Grünwald and a regular guest commented on the photos and newspaper articles sent in by the audience as well as celebrity gossip. Monika Gruber was this regular guest for seven years , later it was Hannes Ringlstetter and Willy Astor and Wolfgang Krebs were his regular guests until 2013 . In 2014 Monika Gruber was back in this role.

Between the individual parts of the program, parodies of current commercials or other programs are often played, such as Toto and Lotto (parody by Toto & Harry ) or Lässig cook with Joe Waschl and his assistant Rosinerl ( Rosetta Pedone ; parodies cooking programs ). From December 2009 to December 2010 there was a monthly survey on a current topic, which was carried out by the outside reporter Natalie Langer . Since December 2011 there is a new external reporter Veronika Bergmann ( Sabrina Litzinger ). This should always report live on site for Günter Grünwald on a specific topic, but is never where it should be (for example, it is once in San Francisco instead of the St. Franziskus Monastery), which is why there is usually a dispute between Grünwald and Bergmann comes when Grünwald pulls the broadcast plug to finish. The new outside reporter Karl Krallinger ( Franz-Xaver Zeller ) has been around since February 2020 .

Grünwald carries in each issue an anti- Hitler - button on his suit, which at the entry of the NPD back in some diets.

The end of the program is always a longer scene staged by Günter Grünwald, Monika Gruber, Hannes Ringlstetter, Helmut Schleich, Willy Astor, Rosetta Pedone , Nadja Maleh , Harry G , Hans-Jürgen Silbermann and the guest cabaret artists. Günter Grünwald often slips into different roles such as the constantly drunk caretaker Bamberger or the Serbian thug and petty criminal Bonzo (quotes: "Servus, i am da Bonzo!"; "Do you need flat TV?"). One of his favorite characters was "Jacques Sacques, the greatest fashion designer in all of Mindelstetten ", a parody of the fashion designer Rudolph Moshammer . Günter Grünwald has hardly used this figure since Moshammer's death.

Günter Grünwald traditionally ends every program with the sentence: "Stay as you are, you don't have any choice anyway."

The new season started in February 2015. Originally Monika Gruber was considered as a partner. After "Gruberin" left before the first program was broadcast, Markus Stoll, alias " Harry G ", was signed up by BR.
