Hanns Meilhamer
Hanns Meilhamer (born November 19, 1951 in Pocking ) is a German cabaret artist , actor and Bavarian dialect poet and songwriter.
Life
Meilhamer first studied at the Munich Art Academy . Since 1971 he has appeared as a singer, musician and songwriter. After completing his studies, he lived in Berlin between 1975 and 1977 , then in Munich until 1989 and since then in Kirchdorf am Inn . Together with his wife Claudia Schlenger-Meilhamer , he has been on stage as the cabaret artist and comedian couple Herbert and Schnipsi since 1982 . Her son Simon (* 1986) has played in some television productions since 1994.
Meilhamer had his breakthrough in 1983 in the film The Spider Murphy Gang , which, however, had little success beyond Bavaria's borders.
