Michael Müller (born September 2, 1958 in Bonn ) is a German comedian and actor .

Career

Müller first studied architecture. In 1983 he was part of the founding ensemble of the Springmaus improvisation theater . He played in various musicals such as Der kleine Horrorladen (1993), Beauty and the Beast (1994) and Keep Cool (1995). Together with the actor Andreas Etienne , he founded the satirical duo The Neighbors in 1997 , with whom he targeted neighborhood and interpersonal conflicts. As Etienne & Müller they still perform together today and are both members of the @rheinkabarett quartet . Both formations are based in the House of the Jumping Mouse in Bonn.

On television you saw Müller in various comedy series such as the Dirk Bach Show , Rita and Schmitz komm raus . His breakthrough came in 1997 when he was in the comedy series switch of ProSieben participated. This comedy format parodied everything that happened on the medium of television. He was seen in all four seasons until 2000. In the new edition Switch Reloaded from 2007 he is there again. In 2003 he took part in the sketch comedy series Sketch Show , which was discontinued after 13 episodes due to the moderate success. He also appeared in an episode of the crime series The Guard (1993), the film Portland (1995) and in the series Lindenstrasse and Forbidden Love and 1999 Rita's World .

Since 2010 Michael Müller has played in the monthly WDR comedy and cabaret show Stratmanns , in which Andreas Etienne also participates. In September 2014 he was director of on RTL broadcast improv comedy show Hotel Home: Please disturb!
