Andreas Etienne

Andreas Etienne (born March 8, 1955 in Oestrich-Winkel ) is a German actor and cabaret artist and theater director of the House of Springmaus in Bonn .

Career

He first studied German, history and art history in Bonn.

Etienne was a founding member of the Springmaus improvisation theater (1983) and was already artistic director of the first Springmaus House , a cabaret on Oxfordstrasse in Bonn. Later he played a major role in the construction of the new Springmaus Theater in Bonn- Endenich , which today is one of the most renowned cabaret venues in Germany.

Etienne not only played in the Springmaus ensemble productions , but also in numerous solo programs such as Now You're Off or The Lifted Man , whereby his Rhenish origin was always a central point in his performances. Beyond the cabaret subject, he designed a sensual literary evening with the title What angels can't do everything .

Another great stage success was the horror comedy The Secret of Irma Vep , in which he played a total of 14 male and female roles in flying costume changes alongside Bill Mockridge , the founder of the Springmaus Ensemble.

Together with actor Michael Müller , he founded the satirical duo The Neighbors in 1997 , with whom he lovingly targeted neighborly and interpersonal conflicts. Andreas Etienne and Michael Müller began their joint stage career as founding members of the Springmaus improvisation theater, to which they belonged for 8 years. Then they wrote, staged and played numerous other cabaret productions in the House of the Springmaus. As “The Neighbors”, Andreas Etienne and Michael Müller (after 10 years) celebrated their last performance in December 2006, as the duo “Etienne & Müller” they brought a new weird cabaret program onto the stage in May 2007: Drive-controlled! In 2008, the program for the 25th stage anniversary of Kronjuwelen followed - 25 years of stage marriage , a cabaret all-round blow from the old jumper times to today.

Since 2002 Etienne plays the Köbes in the comedy series Stratmanns the WDR . Since 2010 his colleague Michael Müller has played a guest who constantly complains about the work of the Köbe.

In addition to his theater work, Etienne is known for his large collection of historical nativity scenes , with which he has organized numerous exhibitions.

In 1999 he was Prince Carnival ("Andreas I.") in his hometown of Bonn.

Etienne is to this day managing director of the House of the Jumping Mouse.
