Hotel at home: please disturb! is a television show dedicated to "improvisational comedy" ( impromptu comedy , improvisational theater ). The series is recorded in front of an audience without a script , but the actors, similar to Schillerstraße , receive keywords for their tasks by directing instructions.

So far, four episodes have been produced, which were broadcast weekly on Fridays at 9:15 p.m. on RTL from September 5, 2014 to September 26, 2014 .

Concept and content

According to the official description, Ralf Schmitz plays a "proud owner of a small hotel on the outskirts of the city, where the craziest things happen and the strangest people stay." Hotel Home is a comedy without a net or a false bottom. Inappropriately, RTL describes the show as the “first improv sitcom on German television”, which the FAZ calls the funny thing about the show and wipes off the show as “a lukewarm new edition of“ Schillerstrasse ””. Jürgen Overkott from the daily WAZ gave the television series a benevolent rating: "Of course, the ensemble always tends to walk the thin line between being silly and hilarious, but Schmitz & Co. manages the proverbial balancing act remarkably well."

Michael Müller , known from the Switch reloaded ensemble , is the show director. Frank Lieberich directs .
