Frank Streffing

Frank Streffing (born December 1, 1976 in North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German actor and speaker.

Life

Frank Streffing was born in 1976. In 1996 he passed his Abitur at Schloss Overhagen High School .

After his training at the Berlin University of the Arts , he was a permanent member of the Maxim-Gorki-Theater Berlin ensemble , where he worked with Katharina Thalbach and Ursula Werner , among others . This was followed by further theater engagements at the Volksbühne Berlin, the Berlin State Opera , HAU Berlin and the Tribüne Berlin, where he presented his own live late night show.

Streffing became known to a wide audience through the Sat.1 comedy show Happy Friday (2004), alongside Martina Hill , Martin Klempnow and Mathias Schlung , among others . After that, he was seen in numerous comedy formats and series on television. He played a leading role alongside Mike Krüger and Peter Rütten as a comedy writer in the Pro7 late night show Krügers Woche . In the RTL sitcom 4 Singles he played the clumsy single Steffen . With this format he was nominated twice for the German Comedy Prize. In 2010 he took part in an episode of the crime series In the face of crime , directed by Dominik Graf . In the movie Groupies Don't Stay for Breakfast , directed by Marc Rothemund , Streffing played teacher Hollinderbäumer at the side of Anna Fischer and Kostja Ullmann .

From August 2013 to August 2015 he played a leading role as Jessy's father on the stage of the theater at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin for Udo Lindenberg's musical Hinterm Horizont .

In 2015 Frank Streffing u. a. for cut by cut directed by Kai Meyer-Ricks , Milch kaputt, three papers by Tim Kochs , Hubert & Staller , directed by Erik Haffner , and My Blind Date with Life directed by Marc Rothemund .

In 2016 Frank Streffing u. a. in front of the camera for "Triple Ex" directed by Joseph Orr and Jan Markus Linhof. He played the dentist Dr. Burner. He also shot for “Mann im Mond”, directed by Andreas Senn.
