Harry G (born May 30, 1979 in Regensburg ; real name Markus Stoll ) is a German comedian , cabaret artist and actor from Bavaria .

life and career

The native of Upper Palatinate, Markus Stoll, went to school in Regensburg and spent part of his youth at Schliersee in Upper Bavaria . After graduating from high school, he studied business administration in Innsbruck and Buenos Aires . After completing his studies, Markus Stoll began to work in the area of venture capital and eventually founded his own social media marketing company. At this time Markus Stoll began to shoot his first humorous video clips and publish them on the YouTube video portal . The starting shot for a career as a comedian and cabaret artist was fired at the Munich Oktoberfest . His YouTube video for the start of the Oktoberfest in 2013, in which he talks about the peculiarities of the festival and its visitors, marked the birth of his fictional character Harry G.

In May 2014 Stoll toured Germany in the role of the grumpy Bavarian Harry G with his first live program Leben mit dem Isarpreiß , in July 2016 the program Leben mit dem Isarpreiß celebrated in the sold out arena tent at the Tollwood Summer Festival 2016 Dernière .

In autumn 2016 he went on tour with his stage program #HarrydieEhre in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Both in his 90-minute stage program and in his clips, Harry G deals with everyday topics and encounters in Bavaria that he has to grumble about.

Since 2020 he has been on tour with his new stage program Hoamboy in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Harry G has also performed the program Granteln is schee - With Harry G daily on Antenne Bayern and weekly on Rock Antenne since October 2014 . In autumn 2015 he switched to Radio Gong 96.3 , where his program could be heard weekly. Since 2020 he has been represented at Bayern 3 with a weekly comedy.

Since February 2015 Harry G has been part of the cast of the comedy show Grünwald Friday Comedy on Bayerischer Rundfunk, alongside Günter Grünwald . As an actor he can be seen in guest roles in the ZDF series Die Rosenheim-Cops in the role of Freddy Hautzenberger and as Nibbsy in the ARD series Munich 7 . He also works as the Baslinger workshop owner in Dahoam is Dahoam . In 2019 Stoll played a guest role in Leberkäsjunkie . In 2020 he played a leading role in the Amazon series The Beischläfer .
