Johannes "Hannes" Ringlstetter (born June 2, 1970 in Munich ) is a German cabaret artist , comedian , musician , actor , TV presenter and author.

biography

Youth and education

Ringlstetter grew up in the Straubing district of Alburg . After graduating from high school and completing community service in nursing and care for the elderly , Ringlstetter studied German and history at the University of Regensburg . During his studies he founded the music group Schinderhannes , whose front man and singer he was for ten years. He completed an internship at the regional television broadcaster TVA , moderated various programs for several years and was editor and producer of the TV production Unterwegs with Hannes Ringlstetter . For this he received the Telly local television award from the Bavarian State Office for New Media in 2000 .

Theater performances and solo programs

After 2005, various stage engagements followed, including at the Regensburg Theater , the Munich Student Theater and appearances at the Schmidt Theater in Hamburg , at Ottis Schlachthof and in the Munich Lach- und Schießgesellschaft . He also played various roles in TV series, for example in Sophie - Schlauer als die Polizei and Balko , as well as in the movies MA 2412 - Die Staatsdiener und Liebe Sünde Vol. II - Schlagerrevue, a production of the Schauspiel Compagnia Regensburg.

Ringlstetter received great press coverage in 2007 for his role as the hunchbacked farmhand in the play Der Watzmann ruft , in which he appeared at the Munich comedy theater alongside Nepo Fitz , who himself played the role as a boy . Since autumn 2007 he has toured with his stage program Von einer Andern Stern , a solo program with piano and guitar , the premiere of which took place on September 2, 2007 in the Munich Lach- und Schießgesellschaft. music

After the band “Schinderhannes” broke up, the project “Ringl on Fire” was created in 2012 with musician friends, which Ringlstetter showed on stage from 2013 to 2015 and released on a CD recorded with the band “The good old Looser Company”. Ringlstetter played arranged country classics and his own pieces in country style. In 2016 the band “Ringlstetter” released the album “PNYA” - Paris - New York - Alteiselfing. From 2016 to 2018 he performed almost a hundred appearances with the associated show in Germany and Austria. In the summer of 2018 the next album “Fear not” (FEN) was also released again on the Millaphon Records label . Various styles of music could be heard on this album, including A. A cover version of David Allan Coe's "Tennessee Whiskey" could be heard on the album , in a duet with Claudia Koreck and in the style of Chris Stapleton . The accompanying tour started on July 4th, 2018. In 2019 he performed at Lieder auf Banz and sang with Wolfgang Niedecken and Pippo Pollina , among others .

From 2010 to 2012 Ringlstetter was a regular partner and regular guest of Günter Grünwald in the program Grünwald Friday Comedy on Bavarian television . Since November 2011, Ringlstetter has played the role of the garage owner and former snack bar operator Yazid in the television series Hubert ohne Staller . He also moderated the cabaret show Vereinsheim Schwabing on Bavarian television from 2012 to the end of 2015 . In addition, since January 29, 2015, ARD has been broadcasting the comedy format on the 3rd floor left. The cabaret flat share in which Ringlstetter is a permanent member of a fictional flat share in Berlin. For this format, he was nominated for the Grimme Prize in both 2016 and 2017 . Since the end of 2016, he has had his own weekly late-night program on BR TV with Ringlstetter , with Carolin Matzko at his side.
