Carolin Matzko
Carolin "Caro" Matzko (born August 12, 1979 in Ulm ) is a German presenter and journalist .
life and career
Carolin Matzko studied communication science, politics and sociology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . At the same time, she worked from 2000 to 2002 as a presenter at Dasding , the SWR youth wave in Baden-Baden . Matzko has been a presenter at Zündfunk on Bayern 2 since 2002 . From 2004 to 2008 she presented the two youth TV formats Blaateen and Freiraum on BR-alpha together with Gunnar Mergner . After the two programs were discontinued, Matzko and Mergner moderated the workday knowledge format X: enius on arte .
In 2014 and 2015, the BR produced two pilot episodes of the ARD - Gesundheitscheck . In September 2016, three more episodes followed, which Matzko presented together with Fero Andersen . Since 2016 she has moderated the program Planet Wissen together with Rainer Maria Jilg on ARD-alpha .
Matzko has been Hannes Ringlstetter's partner in the Ringlstetter program on BR TV since the end of 2016 . In 2019 she had a guest appearance on the TV series Dahoam is Dahoam on BR.
Matzko lives in Munich, is married and has a daughter.
