The residents of the Bavarian community of Niedernussdorf are thrown into an uproar by the discovery of a female corpse. The local police chief inspector Gisela Wegmeyer begins to investigate together with the Straubing chief inspector Florian Lederer. The trail leads to the “Paradies 505” wellness center, where Danijela, the dead woman's name, worked. It turns out that she regularly visits the Niedernussdorf general practitioner Dr. Huber consulted. His questioning ends abruptly because the nervous doctor suddenly suffers a heart attack. According to his shocked medical assistant Jenny, he had heart problems, and he was also a co-owner of the wellness center, which ultimately turns out to be a brothel.
A second trail leads to the red-haired Saubauer Hias, an eccentric who is under the thumb of his mother Jakobina. Danijela's death turns out to be an accident.

Paradies 505. A Lower Bavaria thriller was produced by Roxy Film GmbH on behalf of Bayerischer Rundfunk. The shooting took place from August 7th to September 11th 2012 in Lower Bavaria between Simbach and Bad Griesbach and Rotthalmünster .
The film belongs to the series of local crime stories of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation and is the continuation of the Niederbayern crime novel Sau number four from 2010. It is based on the novel Unter aller Sau by Christian Limmer, from which the screenplay comes.
Publication, audience rating
The film was first broadcast on October 19, 2013 on Bayerischer Rundfunk. The film was released on October 21, 2013 as a purchase DVD by KNM Home Entertainment.
Across Germany, 1.19 million viewers watched the first broadcast of this crime film, 0.64 million of them in Bavaria alone.
The composers released the CD Lieder vom Unterholz under the name Dreiviertelblut , which contains, among other things, pieces of music from the film and its predecessor.
criticism
Paradise 505 was largely positively rated by the critics.
The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung called the film a “fabulous regional thriller” that was “inspired by David Lynch and the Coen brothers”.
For Rainer Tittelbach , the "cool provincial posse" Paradies 505 is "perfectly staged fun."
