Stefan Betz

Stefan Betz (born February 1, 1970 in Landshut ) is a German director , screenwriter and actor .

Life

Betz grew up with his three sisters in Lower Bavaria . After graduating from high school, he began to study metal engineering and social studies. In addition to his studies, he made several short films and was twice awarded the youth film prize. He then received a scholarship at the script workshop in Munich and directed the short film Summer Shops in 2003 , which was funded by FFF Bayern . In 2005 his feature film debut Grenzverkehr was released . At the cabaret Kaktus 2005 he won the 2nd prize. With Richard Oehmann , he designed the traditional Singspiel at the Bavarian politician derblecken on the Nockherberg in 2018 and 2019 .

He currently lives in Munich with his son and wife .
