Richard Oehmann
Richard Oehmann (* 1967 in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria ) is a German author, musician, puppeteer and film critic.
Richard Oehmann is known for “ Doctor Döblinger's tasteful puppet theater ”, for which he and his partner Josef Parzefall won the Schwabing Art Prize in 2012 , and as a musician in the band “ Café Unterzucker ”, in which he works as a singer and lyricist. Together with Stefan Betz , he designed the traditional Singspiel as a Western at the Bavarian politician derblecken on the Nockherberg in 2018 under the title “The glorious 7” and in 2019 the Singspiel with the title “Das kleine Glück or something should be done”.
After graduating from high school in Weilheim, Oehmann did community service at the ecumenical social station in Peißenberg and had his first engagements at the “Theater im Bus”. In 1994 he founded “Doctor Döblinger's tasteful puppet theater” with Parzefall and published numerous Doctor-Döblinger-Kasperl radio plays on CD with Parzefall , as well as the album Xingel-Xangel with puppet songs.
He is also a freelance writer and writes film reviews for artechock . He also works as a DJ and was seen as an occasional actor in films such as Schwere Jungs .
In addition to his band “Café Unterzucker”, he is also the singer of the “Know-it-all Blues Band”.
