The august dreesbach Verlag is a German book publisher headquartered in Munich with offices in Berlin, Dusseldorf and Hamburg.

history

The publishing house was founded in 2006 in Munich by the historian Anne Dreesbach . Namesake is the politician, SPD member of the Reichstag and organizer of the labor movement in southern Germany August Dreesbach .

Publishing program

The publishing program includes books on the subjects of company history, history, biography, Munich, typography and art. As one of the publishers in the field of company history and entrepreneur biography, August Dreesbach Verlag has published around 100 works in this program area. Authors at August Dreesbach Verlag include the historians Michael Kamp and Christian Sepp, the publicist Rüdiger von Voss and the late entrepreneurs Otto Eckart and Dieter Spethmann . In addition, August Dreesbach Verlag has drawn attention to itself in recent years with several publications in collaboration with internationally active design agencies.
