The Tata Tiago is a small car from the Indian car manufacturer Tata . The five-door hatchback was launched in India in early April 2016.

The vehicle was originally announced as the Tata Zica , but on February 2, 2016, Tata Motors announced that it would rename the vehicle as the name is a homonym to the Zika virus . On February 22, 2016, the manufacturer announced that the vehicle would be sold under the name Tiago.

Tiago JTP

At the Auto Expo in February 2018, Tata presented the Tiago JTP, which was developed together with Jayem Automotive . This represents the sports version of the vehicle and is powered by the 83 kW (114 hp) 1.2-liter gasoline engine from the Tata Nexon . In India, the Tiago JTP was launched together with the Tigor JTP in December 2018.

Tiago NRG

With the Tiago NRG , a crossover version was presented in September 2018 .
