The Tata Nexon is an SUV from the Indian car manufacturer Tata Motors on the X1 platform . It was introduced with the Tata Indica Vista in 2008 .
history
The vehicle was announced as the Tata Nexon Concept at the 84th Geneva Motor Show in 2014 . Tata Motors showed a near-series version at the Auto Expo in New Delhi in early 2016 , before the series vehicle was presented in Geneva in 2017. The Nexon has been on sale in India since September 2017. A facelift was presented in January 2020.
In September 2018, Tata presented the special model Nexon Kraz , which has neon-green applications, among other things, for the one-year anniversary of the series .
A battery-powered version of the Nexon was presented in December 2019.
Technical specifications
The four-meter-long SUV is powered by either a 1.2-liter gasoline engine or a 1.5-liter diesel engine . A total of four equipment variants are available.
The electrically powered version has a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 30.2 kWh.
