The Tata Indigo is a small car that was manufactured by Tata Motors in India between 2002 and 2018. These are the notchback and station wagon versions of the Indica . The successor Tata Zest of the Indigo Manza has been produced in parallel since 2014 . The Zest is based on the successor to the Indica, the Tata Bolt .

Indigo sedan (2002-2009)
In 2002 Tata introduced the Indigo sedan. The car was designed by in-house designers and represented the sedan version of the Indica . The two vehicles have a large number of identical parts. The Indigo is often referred to as the “luxury car of the worker”.
Indigo SX (2005-2009)
In 2005 Tata released the Indigo SX , a luxury version of the regular Indigo. It offers a leather steering wheel, leather seats, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, CD player, LCD screens in the front headrests, along with basic equipment such as power steering, electric windows and central locking.
Indigo XL (2007-2009)
The Indigo XL was sold from January 2007. It is the long version of the sedan with a wheelbase extended by 200 mm and a 101 bhp engine. The petrol model has a twin overhead camshaft, 16 valve, multi-point fuel injection (MPFI) engine. The diesel has a DICOR engine.
Indigo CS (2008-2018)
Tata presented the Indigo CS at the New Delhi Motor Show in 2008 . "CS" means Compact Sedan . The Indigo CS has to be paid less luxury tax in India due to its shorter length, which makes it more economical.
Indigo Marina (2004-2009)
The station wagon is called Indigo Marina (also Indigo SW in some export markets ) and was presented at the 2004 New Delhi Motor Show.
Indigo Marina Advent (2004-2009)
Also from 2004 Tata delivered the Indigo Marina Advent , a soft roader similar to the Fiat Adventure .

Between 2009 and 2016 there was a notchback version of the 2nd generation Indica. In order to distinguish the vehicle from the previous model, which was built in parallel, it was given the suffix Manza .
