The Armenian law student Areg has lived in Regensburg for ten years . He feels well integrated, speaks the German language, has a German girlfriend and wants to drop out of his studies to become a film director. If it weren't for his mother, who wants to uphold Armenian culture, and his little brother, who pretends to help him realize his plans, but actually wants to harness him to find treasure in his ancestors' Armenian village.

The shooting took place from July to August 2006 in Regensburg, Munich and Armenia. The film was released on May 1, 2008. The German director is a son from Turkey of immigrant parents of the Armenian minority.
