Erhan Emre

Erhan Emre (* 4. September 1978 in Berlin ) is a German actor with Kurdish descent. He is also active as a screenwriter and director of short films and as a film producer .

Emre, the son of immigrant parents from Turkey, grew up in Berlin-Kreuzberg as one of eight children. The family is originally from Hınıs ( Erzurum Province ).

He made his film debut in 1997 in Thomas Arslan's Kinowerk Kardeşler Siblings . Afterwards further roles in cinema and television, e.g. B. in Grand Paradiso (1999) or Tatort (2002 and 2006). The actor portrayed Wilko in the Gaby Hauptmann film adaptation, Searching Impotenten Mann fürs Leben (2003). Emre played the leading role of the drug dealer Hamal in Detlev Buck's Knallhart (2006).

For Rolf Schübel's Time of Desires (2005) , Emre, here the main actor, together with Lale Yavaş , Tevfik Baser and the director received the audience award of the painter group at the 2005 Adolf Grimme Prize .

As a film producer, he co-produced the feature-length film Urban Guerillas by Neco Çelik in addition to his own short films .

He was in the ProSieben series Innocent as forensic scientist Dr. Sebastian Krüger can be seen alongside Alexandra Neldel and Clemens Schick , as well as in the role of Murat İnal in the series Gül Dünya on the Turkish broadcaster Star TV .

Erhan Emre has a son and a daughter.
