Alexandra Neldel
Alexandra Monika Neldel (born February 11, 1976 in West Berlin ) is a German actress and voice actress .
Life and acting career
Neldel graduated from secondary school in Berlin-Steglitz and did an apprenticeship as a dental assistant , while she also worked as a hostess . At a polo tournament she met the head of the casting agency for RTL Soap Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten , whom she invited to test shots. She then played the role of Katja Wettstein from 1996 to 1999 .
In 1997 Neldel published a photo series in Playboy . In 2005 she played the role of Janine in the award-winning film Barfuss, alongside and under the direction of Til Schweiger .
She had her breakthrough in 2005 with the leading role of Lisa Plenske in Sat.1 - Telenovela Verliebt in Berlin . There an attempt was made to transform her into an "ugly duckling" with a wig, fat suit , braces and old-fashioned glasses. She left the telenovela after the first season, which ended with a three-hour special about the wedding of her role. Tim Sander starred in the second season, but Neldel returned for a few episodes in mid-April 2007 to help the series out of the all-time low.
In 2008 she starred in the crime series Innocent . For this role she received the Bavarian TV Prize .
Under the direction of Ute Wieland, Neldel took on the leading role of the inventor Lena Berkow, alongside Friedrich von Thun , Horst Kummeth and Vadim Glowna, in the ZDF three-parter Die Rebellin , which was broadcast at the beginning of 2009 and depicts the fate of women from the post-war years to the 1950s. In 2010 she took on the title role in the bestseller film Die Wanderhure , which premiered on October 5, 2010, as well as Die Rache der Wanderhure , which premiered on February 28, 2012. The film saw more than 8.01 million viewers. Half a year later, on November 13, 2012, she was seen again as Marie in The Legacy of the Wandering Whore . In addition, Neldel was seen in the role of Melanie in Schatzritter 2012 .
In the television film Der Minister , which was broadcast on Sat.1 in March 2013 , Alexandra Neldel played the role of Viktoria von Donnersberg . At the end of 2013 she played the lead role as Verena in the television film The Forbidden Woman , which is based on the autobiographical novel The Forbidden Woman: My Years with Sheikh Khalid of Dubai by Verena Wermut.
Alexandra Neldel has been involved in the international aid organization Habitat for Humanity Germany since July 2010 . She has already helped with other volunteers in Cambodia and Nepal to build houses for families who previously lived in poverty-stricken homes.
