On the campus of a select university, Anna Winter has to solve the murder of a young woman. Surrounded by students who are primarily obsessed with their own careers, she investigates the question of whether the woman killed herself or whether someone killed her. Anna Winter is not making good progress with her investigation and still has the feeling that she is on a very hot lead. But she still lacks the evidence to clear up the case. Anna Winter's team suspects she is getting too involved in the case. Her relationship life is also being put to the test: She simply cannot choose between her colleagues, the lawyer Phillip Rothkamm and the former police officer Marco Lorenz. In the end, however, events roll over and Anna is dependent on the help of both to solve the case.
