action

Anna Maron tells a long story to Commissioner Wolfgang Lohnert about her unfaithful, violent husband Marek, whom she left on a rainy night. She then had an accident, in which the other party in the accident rushed to her aid, but then took her hostage. Alex Lee, that's his name, was on the run from henchmen of the Hong Kong Mafia who had arrested him at the scene of the accident, which led to her being taken hostage. Alex is a contract killer.

Later, a love affair developed between her and her hostage taker, after which her husband killed Alex. After the interrogation, during which Anna's experiences are shown in flashbacks, she can leave and say goodbye. When Anna is gone, the superintendent thinks again about what she told him, including the names of two gangsters whom she gave as Beck and Höpfner. During his deliberations, the inspector's eye falls on one of the files in his office, which apparently by chance is labeled with the name Höpfner . When a glance wanders on, he gets stuck on his Schönfelder collection of laws on the shelf , on which the name of the publisher, Beck , can be seen. Further clues condense to the assumption that Anna Maron made up the entire story told to him and embellished it with names that were picked up by chance. Only a little later, Lohnert learns that a corpse has been found. However, it is not about the hostage-taker allegedly killed by Anna's husband, but about her husband.

criticism

The television magazine TV Spielfilm criticized the fact that the television film Das Bitch had plagiarized the movie Die usual suspects and criticized the fact that the television film looked more like a satirical because of its "American look ." The film received an “average” rating.

kino.de, on the other hand, was of the opinion: “Iris Berben, one of the guarantors of ratings on German television, is also convincing in this thriller, which was produced in 1998 by her son Oliver. Directed by Carlo Rola. A trio that later realized numerous other TV productions together. "

Prisma spoke of a “flashback crime story by Iris Berben's in-house director Carlo Rola [...] with logical breaks and strangely dosed comedy. However, Leon Boden is convincing as a gangster on the run ”. It was also worth mentioning that "Alexandra Neldel can be seen in one of her most revealing roles".
